چکیده

The pilot is the main person in charge of taxiing safety while moving on airport surface. visual separation and speed adjustment are directly related to efficiency surface operation. According actual procedures control rules China, this paper proposes a novel microscopic simulation model based pilots’ separation. This also built by refining aircraft at intersections. observation range, judgment, distance, rate proximity intention for governing discussed as parameters model. autonomous governing, position updates set up discussed. proposed can accurately simulate acceleration deceleration intentions under different motion trends reproducing process including following acceleration, delayed caused changes. results demonstrate that number conflicts be reduced 50% 50 s when convergence angle 30°. pilot’s distance inversely proportional fluctuation range rear aircraft, front probability conflict. conform routes rules, which provides technical support improving level operation presents certain reference value practicability.

Micro-simulation of vehicle conflicts involving right-turn vehicles at signalized intersections based on cellular automata.

At intersection, vehicles coming from different directions conflict with each other. Improper geometric design and signal settings at signalized intersection will increase occurrence of conflicts between road users and results in a reduction of the safety level. This study established a cellular automata (CA) model to simulate vehicular interactions involving right-turn vehicles (as similar to ...

Investigating the gender differences on bicycle-vehicle conflicts at urban intersections using an ordered logit methodology.

In the literature, a crash-based modeling approach has long been used to evaluate the factors that contribute to cyclist injury risk at intersections. However, this approach has been criticized as crashes are required to occur before contributing factors can be identified and countermeasures can be implemented. Moreover, human factors related to dangerous behaviors are difficult to evaluate usi...

Stochastic Algorithm for Improved Operations at Isolated High Speed Intersections

The current practice of specifying simultaneous gap out logic at isolated high speed signalized intersections places constraints on the signal controller logic that cannot be satisfied under high congestion level. Further, it often results in degraded signal efficiency and dilemma zone protection. A stochastic approach is proposed in this paper with the objective of increasing safety and effici...

Safety impacts of signal-warning flashers and speed control at high-speed signalized intersections.

For many years, to reduce the crash frequency and severity at high-speed signalized intersections, warning flashers have been used to alert drivers of potential traffic-signal changes. Recently, more aggressive countermeasures at such intersections include a speed-limit reduction in addition to warning flashers. While such speed-control strategies have the potential to further improve the crash...

Assessing Behavioral Patterns of Motorcyclists Based on Traffic Control Device at City Intersections by Classification Tree Algorithm

According to the forensic statistics, in Iran, 26 percent of those killed in traffic accidents are motorcyclists in recent years. Thus, it is necessary to investigate the causes of motorcycle accidents because of the high number of motorcyclist casualties. Motorcyclists' dangerous behaviors are among the causes of events that are discussed in this study. Traffic signs have the important role of...
